What is The BeatBuds experience?
Our program is a fully interactive 50-55 minute music session facilitated by 2 members of our team. Through our own original song catalog and the use of various percussion instruments and rhythmic tools, we bring early age children on a fun musical adventure. The program caters to ages 6 months to 6 years and is strategically designed to simultaneously entertain and educate through a hands on musical approach.
Can The BeatBuds come to my location?
Yes! All of our entertainment options are mobile. The location must be suitable to accommodate the load in, performance, and load out of a live band. An exceptionally far distance from load in/out area to performance space, an over abundance of stairs, and an unmanageable rural location are some examples of unsuitable circumstances for us and need to be discussed beforehand as additional charges may apply.
Which BeatBuds will be staffing my event?
Our team consists of many team members. While your event will be staffed by two members of our team, we do not guarantee which members of our team will staff your event. Staffing assignments change constantly and are subject to change without notice.
Can The BeatBuds perform outdoors?
Yes! As long as there is sufficient space, shade and shelter for us, our gear, and the attendees an outdoor performance space works well. It’s always smart to have an indoor option if the weather is unfavorable. Please make sure that our performance area is on level, dry, solid ground and if on the grass, please make sure not to water it 2 days prior to your event or provide a tarp for the kids and band to play on. We will not perform on sand.
Can The BeatBuds perform indoors?
Yes. As long as there is sufficient space, for us, our gear, and the attendees, an indoor performance space works well. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur to the client’s property should the performance space be unsuitable for instrument play, dancing, and hopping.
Can The BeatBuds perform in a park?
Yes! But please check park requirements to make sure live music is permitted.
How much space does The BeatBuds need?
We need a space suitable for two BeatBuds, our gear, and the attendees. This depends greatly on the number of kids in attendance but generally speaking a 17’x17’ area is sufficient. But we know that in many cases this amount of room is not available. Our setup is flexible and allows us to work with the space we have. Sure, it may be cramped, but it WILL be fun! We bring a 5’x7’ mat for the kids to sit on but if you have a large group, blankets and rugs are encouraged. If you have questions about whether or not your space will work, please contact us prior to booking.
Does The BeatBuds have liability insurance?

Does The BeatBuds offer party favors?

What do I do if the amount of kids in attendance changes?
We understand that guest lists change. If possible, please provide us with at least 7 days notice of any major changes. Additional charges may be incurred.
What is The BeatBuds event cancellation policy?
If a cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to the event, 100% of your payment will be refunded. If a cancellation is made in less than 14 days, but outside of 48 hours prior to the event, 50% of your payment is forfeited and cannot be used toward the cost of a rescheduled event. If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to the event, 100% of your payment is forfeited. In the case of a last minute booking where the booking has been confirmed within 14 days of the event, 50% of your payment is non refundable. As above, if a cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to the event, 100% of your payment is forfeited.
